Journal test drive - every element this blog can hold
This first entry is a test drive - one post that exercises every element this journal can hold: text, images with captions, an embedded video slot, and a real interactive 3D Gaussian splat. If you can read this, the pipeline works.
Why this journal exists
Instagram shows you a frame. This place is the room behind it. Every piece I post there has a deeper version living here - explorable 3D, process notes, the honest mess behind the finished image. This post is the skeleton all future entries will build on.
Images & captions
Inline image with a caption - this is how single artworks will appear in posts.
A second image - posts can carry whole series, each with its own caption.
Step inside - interactive 3D
This is the reason this site exists. The viewer below is a real Gaussian splat - drag to rotate, scroll to zoom. Works on mobile too.
Hosted externally on SuperSplat - the journal only carries the window, not the weight.
Video slot
[Placeholder - future posts embed a Vimeo/YouTube player right here for turntables, breakdowns and reels. This test post ships without one; the slot is proven by the 3D embed above, which uses the same mechanism.]
Behind the process
Every post ends with this section: how the piece was actually made - capture settings, engine quirks, failed attempts, the small decisions that shaped the result. No polish, just the work.
Technique is the cauldron. Intuition is the fire. The alchemy is refusing to choose between them.
New drops land on Instagram first - the deep, explorable versions live here.
